Since there is no cell service the wireless is robust throughout the house. Walk to the beach if you need to make a cell phone call.

Location

Tierra del Mar:
Tierra del Mar is a serene, unincorporated community nestled along the Oregon Coast. Known for its tranquil beaches and natural beauty, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. Ideal for those seeking relaxation and outdoor activities, visitors can enjoy beachcombing, hiking, and birdwatching. The small, close-knit community atmosphere makes Tierra del Mar a hidden gem for a quiet, coastal getaway.

Pacific City:
Just a short drive from Tierra del Mar, Pacific City is a charming coastal town known for its stunning scenery and vibrant outdoor activities. Home to the iconic Haystack Rock, this picturesque destination offers excellent opportunities for surfing, fishing, and kayaking. Pacific City boasts a welcoming vibe with local shops, restaurants, and breweries, including the famous Pelican Brewing Company. It's a perfect spot for adventurers and those looking to experience the beauty and culture of the Oregon Coast.

Getting Around

You will need personal transportation.

Getting here

Our place can be hard to spot, especially in the dark. Remember that you will have no cell service, so plan ahead.

From the north: 12 miles south of Tillamook on Highway 101, turn right onto Sandlake Road. At the "T", turn left to stay on Sandlake. Stay on Sandlake until you come to the community of Tierra del Mar. Slow to the posted 35 mph speed and proceed south about 1.5 miles. Look for a whte picket fence on the east (left) side of the road. We are the next (two) driveways after Floyd Street. Look for the solar-powered dogs lights.
From the south: turn off of Highway 101 onto Brooten Road (signs for Pacific City). At the four-way intersection, turn left. After the bridge, turn right. Follow that road 3.5 miles until you come to the community of Tierra del Mar. Slow to the posted 35 mph speed and look for an American flag on the left side of the street. Our two driveways are across the street. Look for the solar-powered dog lights.
